ENGLISH CHALLENGES

Learning English at the university has been different from how I learned it at school, I like that the units had a focus on everyday situations and the idea of taking this to blogs in which we can take the language to something more personal and communicative among classmates is a very interactive way to learn in my opinion and makes it not boring, considering that the pandemic did not prepare anyone to learn in this way, it has been super useful and enjoyable, although I would have liked to be in person to learn to speak it. This last one is one of the aspects that I need to improve and that in the online mode is difficult in my opinion. Speaking fluent english is a goal that still remains because every time we agree with a friend to speak in English we never succeed, so I hope to be able to practice with someone who speaks the language natively.

Outside of english classes I don't use the language as much as I would like, only when I'm watching programs from other continents and I listen them in their original language, reading some articles, listening podcasts or in social media as well since I like to see memes in English haha. Personally I like to watch movies and documentaries in their original language and this way I have learned most of the English that I know, since in some programs I have learned idioms, some funny, but that I think will be useful in case I go to the northern hemisphere someday (:
